CBIT Shop Overview

The Web Tax Invoice System is a University system that delivers your invoice online. This invoice is compliant with government regulations and upon payment becomes a tax invoice for Australian GST purposes.

The invoice has features that allow you to print and/or email the invoice to yourself so that you retain a copy for your own records.

Internet Payment

Online payment requires Netscape Navigator 6+ or Internet Explorer 5+ browsers (or later) and Javascript enabled. A printer is required to print the online receipt from the ANZ Bank.

The University accepts Mastercard, Visa or Bankcard.

In the Payment Options on the Web Tax Invoice you will have a  button. By clicking the button you will be taken to the ANZ Bank Secure Payment Page.

In the bank site you will enter your Credit Card information and submit it to the bank. After your payment has been processed an ANZ Bank receipt will be displayed on your screen for printing. The bank will also email your transaction receipt to the email address you have entered.

The University does NOT have access or store in any way your full credit card number.

The speed of processing through the University and ANZ bank systems will depend upon your modem speed and internet service provider capability.

The ANZ Bank site will return you to a University web page after completion of your payment processing.

Other Payment Methods

BPAY (Telephone and Internet Banking)

Please call your bank, credit union or building society to make this payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

Cheque

All cheques must be in AUD$ Australian Dollars, drawn on an Australian Bank and free of all charges.

Please make cheques payable to “The University of Queensland” and return to the address on your Web Tax Invoice along with your remittance slip.
